USA Bowl 3A National Champions Monroe County Sting
Final 98 yard drive get's it done for Sting! The Monroe County Sting (12-1) won the USA Bowl Championship 21-20 over the Kings Comets for thier 3rd National Championship at 2008 USA Bowl National Championship in Homestead Florida.
USA Bowl DII National Champions DC Explosion
The DC Explosion defeated the Knights of Miami 30-6 in HomesteadFlorida to win the 2009 USA Bowl/Sunshine Bowl DII National Championship.
While playing in south Florida in post season play the Explosions have been exceptional winning three post season championships.

Four of the countries top 25 teams will meet January 16 -17, 2010 at Harris Field Sports Complex in HomesteadFlorida just south of Miami, to prove who will be the top team at their level in Minor League Football for 2009.
This year the defending USA Bowl DI/3A Champion Monroe County Sting (12-1) take on Kings Comets (11-1) MCFL for the 2009 USA Bowl 3A/DI National Championship both team are league champions and ranked in the nations top ten, they will play Saturday January 16th at 2PM. Next up 3 time USA Bowl DII champion the DC Explosion (NAFL) take on the Florida Thunder (SEFL) the Thunder where 8-4 last season and are coached by former NFL'er Ernest Givens for the AFNT/USA Bowl DII Championship on Sunday January 17th at 6PM. In addition a new partnership has been formed between the American Football News Today and the American Football Rules committees and the AFR is added it name to the AFNT Championship bowl game between the Central Penn Piranhas (NAFL) and the Central Florida Thoroughbreds (SEFL).
