USA Eagles are playing in the Tazon De La Frontera (Border Bowl) a Pre-season college football bowl game against the University of Coahuila Lobos (2022 Conf Champs 8-2) in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico across from USA sister city Eagle Pass, Texas. Saturday August 12th  2023 6pm.

(Mexico College and Professional football teams are actively recruiting Coaches and Players to coach or play in Mexico)
The team is staying at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Piedras Negras, Thursday August 10th to Sunday August 13th.  Includes: uniform, swag, practice, meals, 4 days 3 nights 
hotel (2 players per room), social events, film, photos, game and if needed, ground transportation from San Antonio, Texas to Piedras Negras. (You must be in San Antonio by 12:00pm on August 10th to take shuttle to Piedras Negras)
You can either drive or Fly to San Antonio, Texas or you can drive directly to Piedras Negras, crossing at Eagle Pass, Texas arriving at Days Inn Hotel by 3pm August 10th. No Pass Port is needed.  You only need Drivers Licences and Birth Certificate.                  Register

     Arrive by 3:00pm   (Bring either Drivers License & Birth Certificate  OR  PassPort to cross the Border)

San Antonio Airport Shuttle

Meet at Terminal A Passanger Pick Up A1.
Terminal A and B are connected, get your Bags and go to pick up location.
Go Walk across the Street to Rideshare 1 and 2 to get on Shuttle Vans.
Shuttle leaves the airport at 12:45pm Thursday 10th.

If you are driving you can short term park at the Airport to get on the Shuttle OR Drive and Park at the Days Inn Hotel in Piedras Negras after Crossing the Border, it’s only 98 miles from the Hwy 35 and Hwy 57 turn out of San Antonio to Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras!

UAdeC Wolves Team Champions of the ONEFA Major League of American Football

Saltillo Coahuila. December 20, 2021.- Thanks to their dedication and sports talent, the Lobos de Fútbol Americano team from the Autonomous University of Coahuila won the Eighth Major League Championship of the National Conference organized by the National Student Football Organization ( ONEFA), with a score of 13 to 9 against the Borregos of the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Querétaro.

The pack led by Head Coach Ángel Esparza Castro reached the final at the "Jorge Castro Medina" Stadium and was crowned champion of the tournament, after two years without participating in ONEFA due to the COVID-19 pandemic and after face six college teams with wins in all their games this season.

During the game, the fans of the maximum house of studies were present, among them, the general coordinator of Sports, David Hernández Barrera, students, teachers, officials and relatives of the players, as well as the general public, who motivated the team at all times. varsity team; At half time of the meeting, a special recognition was made to the UAdeC athletes who participated in the National Games during the year 2021.

With this achievement, the UAdeC adds the title of Conference number six in its history; In 1998, the team from the highest house of studies defeated the Pumas Acatlán in Mexico City, later, in 2001, they were crowned again against the Frailes del Tepeyac of the Tepeyac College and University, while the third crown came in one of the most brilliant seasons for the home team, since in 2009 they won the trophy by defeating the Águilas of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.

In the past decade, Lobos has won gold twice: in 2014, they beat Universidad Anáhuac Cancún 29-22, and in the grand finale of 2018, they once again beat Los Frailes del Tepeyac 24-14 in the final score
